The musical tonality of the sax has always captivated me, in particular the sound that comes from the soprano sax as it is interpreted by a celebrity of this instrument such as the saxophonist Kenny G...a true marvel!!!
This is why, about three years after having taken up clarinet lessons, I decided to start studying the sax as a second instrument. The Three Kings of the Orient gave me my first soprano sax (a YAMAHA YSS-475) on January 6 of 2007, and a few days later I began lessons with my good friend Jordi Parrot (tenora, sax, violin and voice with La Principal de La Bisbal)...since then I have continued practicing and studying periodically, though not with the regularity I would like. Nowadays, I play a tenor sax and I enjoy very much playing it together with the good friends.
If I haven't been able to dedicate as much time to the sax companion as I have dedicated to my other great musical friend, the clarinet, I have the firm conviction, God willing in the near future, that we will have the chance to get together more often to enjoy ourselves and open our hearts to each other on many more occasions.
As with the clarinet, in this personal weblog I would like to share with all of you some of the scores for soprano/tenor sax I've had the good fortune to be able to learn and play. Help yourselves!!!
