Today thousands of people, either in person or online, will follow from GIRONA the third edition of the IMPULSA Forum , a process initiated by the Prince of Girona Foundation in early 2010 to discover what educational, technological, economic, political and social conditions are needed to convert, in the medium term, thousands of committed, restless, enthusiastic and courageous young people with projects (what we call IMPULSA YOUTH) in creators of progress and wealth through initiatives in all fields.

Under the umbrella of the IMPULSA Formula (Building enthusiasm x Educating x Entrepreneuring = Transformation), today thousands of people will follow the lessons that global references in education, creativation, entrepreneurship, collaboration and youth initiative will share with us. By means of an innovative online format, the ideas and restless talent of young people will have an opportunity to interact with the experience and resources of their elders, to open their eyes to a new awakening and welcome in ideas with the power to make us see, from renewed perspectives, that anything is possible if we try, banishing the anxiety, disenchantment and defeatism of the times we’re living in.

Today, in Girona, we will witness the birth of a new spirit, the IMPULSA spirit, a spirit that must help us to rediscover confidence in our ideas, talents, capabilities and possibilities ... because, now more than ever, life is cyclical and, now more than ever, if we want to and try, a new cycle full of future and progress is within our reach.

Today in the IMPULSA Forum, we will discover the keys for connecting initiatives and harnessing a new stage where dedication, effort and proactivity are erected as indispensable values for embracing the improvement and progress we wish and hope for in our society.

All of us who attend the IMPULSA Forum today have a great duty and a big responsibility ... All of us who today share this vision must be the "impulsors" of this change, of this new way of doing things; all of us who today share the IMPULSA spirit must be the apostles of this new disposition ... a disposition based on committed and generous collaboration between disciplines, between corporations, between professionals, between research groups, between leaders (politicians, business leaders, trade unions, ...), between ideologies, between sectors, between emerging talent and established talent... because only transversal and polyhedral collaboration will allow us to resolve the extreme complexity of today’s world.

Today the IMPULSA Forum welcomes all those who, far beyond their physical presence in the Girona Auditorium, wish to dedicate themselves to making this world a better place, today the IMPULSA Forum welcomes all those who want to get involved in "pulling the wagon" and who are not afraid of being an entrepreneur ... today the IMPULSA Forum welcomes all those who have the audacity and the courage to start down a path that, though perhaps uncertain, is the only path toward our own future.

Today I encourage you to Co-share, Co-build, Co-live, Connect, Cooperate, Contribute ... to Co-Transform ... , Today, more than ever, I encourage you to Collaborate and Multiply instead of Confronting, because if we work together the CO-FUTURE IS IN OUR HANDS!
